EARTH
Direction is North.
Caves, Canyons, Chasms, Forests, Groves, Valleys, Fields, Farms, Gardens, Arboretums, Parks, Plant Nurseries, Farmer's Markets, Kitchens, Baby Nurseries, Basements, Mines, Holes. Rituals that require Earth are Money matters, Prosperity, Fertility, Stability, Grounding , Employment. The color is Green. Rituals with Earth can include ( but are not limited to) Burying, Planting, Making Images in Soil or Sand. Season is Winter.

AIR
Direction is East.
Mountaintops, wind swept plains, cloudy skies, high towers, airports, schools, libraries. Rituals include travel, instructions, Study, Freedom, Knowledge, Recovering Lost Items. The color is Yellow. Ritual forms include ( but are not limited to ) tossing Objects into the Air, Suspending Tools in High Places, Fanning Light Objects, Visualization, Positive Thinking. Season: Spring.

FIRE
Direction is South.
Deserts, hot springs, volcanoes, ovens, fireplaces, bedrooms (for sex). Color is Red. Do rituals for Protection, Courage, Sex, Energy, Strength, Authority, Banishing Negativity. Ritual forms include (but aren't limited to )Burning, Or Smoldering; Heating. Season is Summer.

WATER
Direction is West.
Lakes, Springs, Streams, Rivers, Beaches, Oceans, Wells, Swimming pools, Bathtubs, Showers, Bedrooms (for sleep). Color is Blue. Do spells for Purification, Love, Psychic Awareness, Dreams, Sleep, Peace, Marriage, Friendships. Ritual forms can include ( but are not limited to ) Dilution, Placing into Water, Washing away, Bathing. Season is Autumn.

The Altar
The Altar
Your altar can be any shape or size. It can range from a table, a chair, a tree stump, or the Earth itself. Your altar cloth should be non-flammable (because of the candles).
Symbols of the elements:
North: Salt
East: Incense
South: Red Candle
West: Dish or Cauldron of Water
Tools:
North: Pentacle
East: Athame
South: Wand
West: Chalice of Wine
Symbols of the God & Goddess:
2 candles can be used for the God and Goddess respectfully, or items & statues that stand for them can also be used. Goddess items and candle go on the left side. And God items and candles go on the right side of the altar.
